Raised in Ohio, Timothy moved to New York City to study art at Parsons School of Design. For the next 22 years he worked in NYC as an Artist, Illustrator and Creative Director and earned his Masters degree in Art. Moving to Naples, Florida in 2003 he started Art2D. A Custom Fine Art and Mural business with a wide range of styles that caters to Naples most discriminating clientele.

His artwork has been exhibited in corporate offices in New York City and Helio Gallery in Soho, New York. Artwork has also been exhibited in many Southwest Florida Design centers and various Galleries. As an Illustrator and Creative Director he has had numerous paintings and designs published in national magazines. As an interactive designer he has also developed interactive CD's and web sites for many national brands.

As the principal artist for Art2D.com his Custom Fine Art can be found in luxury residences throughout Southwest Florida. These art works range in styles from Classical Paintings and Tropical Themes to Contemporary Art.

As a Fine Artist, Timothy concentrates on Abstract and Abstract Figurative Art. His paintings often take on their own lives and seem to paint themselves as he explores the interaction between texture, brush work, color, the human figure and other forms. The application of the paint itself can often be the focus of a painting. In his figurative work, Timothy strives to create paintings that at first glance exhibit a multi depth abstract painting that can stand on its own. While looking closer finding a figure or multiple figures intertwined with the expressive brush strokes and blocks of color to finish the painting giving it multiple dimensions.
